Jyuu-Hachiban!

Eighteen locals in reflective vests and M.C. Hammer pants to cut one hole in the road.  Even then Japan's unemployed are increasing.
Half of them are there for 'safety' but none of them are in ear protections with a concrete saw...

  1. MC Hammer pants? You sure it wasn't some kind of experimental fashion show? After 'Military Chic' and 'Heroin Chic' surely 'Construction Worker Chic' can't be too far away.

    2. No pics or gifs was because I posted it from my mobile. I could have taken a picture I suppose, but who wants to spend any time around a concrete cutter.

  3. Yep that's Japan for ya. Public works artificially boosts employment numbers for sure. I always shake my head t the seemingly superfluous workers standing about a trench while one or 2 are in the hole doing actual labor.

  4. Sounds like Cal-Trans with flashier clothes so they can break into dance to direct traffic. "Stop, can't drive here (touch this)!"
