Herzog on 'rainy season'

Sounds like summer in Kanto.

  1. A level of understanding regarding nature that few people are honest enough to admit is sound. Nature is full of complexity and the probability of stability arising out of chaos is so small that for us not to appreciate our place in the universe for how rare and 'fortunate' it is seems folly; we take it for granted and waste our time by making our collective existence almost meaningless.
The jungle as a microcosm of the universe as a whole... Hard to even begin to grasp when we don't really have a way of grasping just how big the universe really is. But, very apt indeed.
